The Anti-Mother’s Day poem

Have you tears to wipe away?

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

“Payback is a bitch!” kids say,

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Disregard their mother’s wishes

Don’t care how she washed the dishes

Wiped their noses, gave them kisses

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

“Will Mom’s heart break apart today?”

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Kids say, “Screw you, go away!”

Those kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Pretty roses they will wilt

Bitter memories are built

No more cookies no more milk

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Sweet affections now are gone

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Better know that something’s wrong,

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Families have to face the truth

Grown kids lose their precious youth, but

Tempers need not hit the roof

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

‘Cause all is well in Mother’s heart

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

No reason for tears to start

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Powerless to make them call

Mother’s standing straight and tall

Knowing they have dropped the ball

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Mother slowly fills the tub

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Treats her self with body scrub

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Doesn’t let them ruin her day, ‘cause

They’re a million miles away

Mom knows it’s best to walk away

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Life for us goes on even

When kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

We shall remain calm even though

Kids don’t call on Mother’s Day

Take a walk out where it’s sunny

They call when they need our money

We won’t answer, we’re no dummies

Greedy kids needn’t call on Mother’s Day.
