Pleasure Seeking:
Pleasure you delude me
As I search high and low
Never drawing near you
Watching as you go
Why do you so despise me
Leaving me alone
Laughing when I reach for you
Cold like sharp grey stone
Forever I grasp and fight with thee
While pleasure you take flight from me…
This is really quite beautiful. I love the simple rhyme pattern as it lends a lovely flow to your poem – it has undertones of sadness, yet it is still beautiful in rhyme and form xx
